$2.5m of Jeffree Star cosmetics stolen

US make-up celebrity Jeffree Star has revealed that thousands of his cosmetic products worth a massive $2.5m have been stolen and will likely be offered for sale on the black market.

The theft from the Los Angeles facility was carried out a couple of weeks ago and included a product that still hadn’t been officially released for sale, a new ‘Magic Star’ concealer that has since been offered for sale on some social media platforms, said Star in a YouTube update. The thieves reportedly accessed the facility through a hole cut in the building roof.

Star said it was the “largest theft and the biggest hit” his brand had suffered in its five-year history, and alleged the heist was an “inside job”.
