Counterfeit Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ spotted

A cut-price, fake version of Samsung’s popular Galaxy Note 10+ smartphone has been seen on the Aliexpress platform, according to a TechRadar report.

The Kimtien Note 10+ costs around one fifth of the Samsung model at $130 and “looks the same as Samsung’s device, with the same name and colour scheme, but don’t expect it to perform anywhere near as well as its alter ego,” says the tech website.

It seems that the phone is being produced at large scale, with tens of thousands of units available via Aliexpress. While the knock-offs aren’t directly copying Samsung’s logo, the article suggests the Korean tech giant will “want to hold the manufacturers to account over the glaring similarities in design and form factor.”
