New chief executive joins Verify Brand

Michael Howe - CEO Verify CorpVerify Brand has appointed Michael Howe as its new chief executive, taking over from David Dillon who will remain as chairman of the company.

Howe (pictured) has been named CEO of Verify Corp - which comprises authentication and track and trace software division Verify Brand as well as Verify Engage, a unit specialising in consumer engagement and loyalty enhancement.

Most recently, Howe was chairman of marketing solutions company Smart Receipt and healthcare plan comparison service DestinationRx, which was recently acquired by Connecture. Previously he has held leadership positions with Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Unilever, Arby's and MinuteClinic.

He brings "extensive experience leading Fortune 100 companies and deep knowledge of digital solutions, software and marketing," said Verify in a statement.

"Michael is a visionary leader with a solid track record and a wealth of knowledge around growing and leading companies, which makes him a perfect fit during this time of tremendous opportunity," said Dillon, who founded Verify Brand in 2004 and Verify Engage in 2012 and will remain closely involved with the strategic direction of both entities.

"I look forward to working with Michael as Verify Engage and Verify Brand become the recognized leaders in loyalty promotions and supply chain security," he added.

Verify Brand's secure software and mobile apps enable global product authentication and traceability by leveraging data and analytics on uniquely identified items.
