The EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has launched a call for proposals to support awareness-raising activities related to counterfeiting and piracy.
The fourth edition of the call is looking for projects that highlight the role of IP to protect creativity and innovation, and the damage caused by IP rights infringement, in a "non-patronising, objective and neutral" way, with a view to changing behaviour.
The 2021 call for proposals is structured around two strands. The first is for projects targeting young people and/or educators and covers a grant range of €20,000 to €60,000. The second is targeted at consumers – but especially young consumers – with a grant range from €40,000 to €100,000.
The total budget available under this call for proposals is estimated at €1m, split roughly 40:60 between the two strands mentioned above.
Applications should be submitted to the EUIPO using an online application form by June 8. More information is available here.
