Avi Chaudhuri named chief scientist at Systech

Avi Chaudhuri has been appointed to the newly-created position of chief scientist at Systech, adding to his current role spearheading the company’s Middle East, India and APAC expansion.

Chaudhuri will report directly to Ara Ohanian, Systech’s chief executive, who has made a series of leadership appointments since taking the helm of the brand protection specialist last year.

Chaudhuri’s work in the brand protection field began in 2004 when he became a victim of a falsified medicine while traveling in India, and he has more than a decade of experience in serialization, traceability, and consumer protection from counterfeit drugs.
