Brief: Survey seeks input on online fake meds trade
Staff reporter, 10-Nov-2014
A new survey is trying to gauge how well the public understand the risks of buying drugs over the Internet.
The poll - part of a European Commission-funded initiative called www.fakecare.com - is being supported by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). It is trying to gain a deeper understanding of the online trade in fake medicines in Europe, as well as to help identify new tools to combat the problem.
The survey can be taken here and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
