Mark Davison named chief business officer at PharmaSecure

Blue Sphere Health founder Mark Davison has joined PharmaSecure as chief business officer, focusing on developing the company's business with international pharma and healthcare companies based in Europe and the US.

Prior to founding BSH, Davison was business development director at security technology vendor SICPA and has many years of experience in the pharma, biotech and contract research sectors. He will split his time between the new role at PharmaSecure and BSH.

Davison is an acknowledged leader in the anti-counterfeiting sector, and is the author of Pharmaceutical Anti-Counterfeiting: Combating the Real Danger from Fake Drugs, as well SecuringPharma's own Pharmaceutical Serialisation: Moving from 'If' to 'How' executive briefing.

"I was attracted to PharmaSecure by the opportunity to use serialisation as an enabler for improved patient outcomes rather than merely a compliance obligation," said Davison.
