Staff reporter, 27-Nov-2013
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has named Katie Hodson to the position of director of investigations, effective January 2014.
Hodson has more than 20 years of experience in conducting and supervising investigations and most recently was Global Head of Investigations at pharma company Novartis, where she managed a team of 30 investigators working on matters including diversion and counterfeiting as well as cases involving corporate security and misconduct.
Inspector General Martin O'Malley - who took over at the Global Fund earlier this year - said Hodson "is an outstanding investigator, with terrific experience [and] brings an excellent combination of technical, intellectual and personal skills to this role."
