Phil Taylor, 04-May-2016
Blue Sphere Health founder Mark Davison has been named in The Medicine Maker magazine's list of the top 100 most influential people.
Davison's inclusion in the 2016 Power List - which honours people involved in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing - underscores the importance of anti-counterfeiting, traceability and authentication in the pharma industry.
He is the author of Pharmaceutical Anti-Counterfeiting: Combating the Real Danger from Fake Drugs as well as numerous reports and white papers on the subject, and advises senior executives on major cross-functional challenges including compliance for the EU Falsified Medicines Directive, the US Drug Supply Chain Security Act and other imminent requirements.
Lately, his work involves helping corporate customers in pharmaceuticals and other sectors to link these big data areas to generate new commercial insights and improved patient outcomes.
"I am delighted and honoured to be included in this list. It acknowledges the growing importance of product authenticity and data integrity in keeping patients and consumers safe," said Davison.
