Taylor Swift concertgoers warned of fake tickets
Phil Taylor, 31-Aug-2015
Reports are circulating that some tickets for Taylor Swift's concert next weekend in Denver - purchased using the Craigslist website and others - are counterfeit.
Denver police have warned that it is investigating a case of fraud in which unknown individuals have been selling fake tickets for the star's September 5 and 6 shows at the Pepsi Center in Denver, and is asking anyone who suspects their tickets may be counterfeit to make contact with its District One precinct on (720) 913 0400.
Earlier this month, dozens of fans trying to attend Swift's show at Rexall Place in Edmonton were turned away at the door after scans revealed the ticket numbers had already been used.
A 32 -year-old woman - Beckie Junkins - was arrested in connection with the scam after being linked to the falsified tickets as well as other fakes, including tickets for Mumford & Sons, Foo Fighters, and Eric Church concerts.
