US cybersecurity firm Trinity raises $23m in Series A
Staff reporter, 30-Jul-2019
Start-up Trinity Cyber has raised $23mn in first-round funding from institutional investors, led by Intel Capital, to help drive take-up of its technology platform to defend against corporate cyber attacks.
The company says it is forging an entirely new approach to cybersecurity, namely “stealth interception of external threats before they reach a customer’s network.”
Former Homeland Security Advisor and US cybersecurity chief, Tom Bossert, who has joined Trinity’s management team, said: “The trend in global cyber attacks has been going in the wrong direction for some time, and American businesses are paying the price. It’s time we meet this problem with a truly preventive solution.”
